Tours vary in length from 1 to 2 hours depending on guest ability and group size..

Warning, This is an adventure activity and has risks. In addition to other unforeseeable circumstances we cannot guarantee your tour will be without incident. It is impossible for AOW to fully train, explain or demonstrate all possible accident scenarios in one training session. If guests follow our rules and pay attention it is likely you will have an incident free activity. BUT, it is not uncommon for some guests to fall off the Segway at some point, either during training, on the tour or near the end. We do not recomend the tours for people who are unsteady on their feet. Guests should be able to walk up and down a set of stairs and nimbly jump off a curb without assistance. Guest will stand for 45 minutes to an hour and a half on the Segway. Adventures Out West cannot fully determin a guests ability to ride a Segway. By signing the waiver, guests acknowledge they have taken necessary steps to determin their ability level. Reckless or disrespectful behavior will not be tollerated. Troublesome guests will be asked to leave the tour without refund. Our tours our fun scenic site seeing adventure, not high performance tours. We recomend you do a youtube search for Segway crashes to view a random sampling of what people do on Segways and how easily one can fall. No riders uncer the age of 14 allowed, sorry.

Introduction and Training
mandatory orientation on Segway use. You are required to sign a waiver and train on our Segway to help ensure your safety on the tour. Guests will be trained as to the potential fun and pitfalls of the Segway experience. Training will be conducted at the tour location.Waiver you may print and bring this with you.

Tour Includes-
Ride time on the Segway, all necessary equipment, guide and helmets.
Training is 20 to 30 minutes depending on group size and guest ability.

Aspen Adventures

City Tour
Explore the city of Aspen and its unique neighborhoods. this 1 to 1.5 hour tour includes the Historic West End, Aspen Music Tent, Mountain Valley, Downtown and other areas as time permits. Hear stories of the olden days and see the homes of the Rich and Famous.

City tour $75.00 per guest, includes 20 to 30 minute training and tour time. Total time 1-1.5 hours depending on guest ability and group size.

Off Road, Add some dirt to your fun. $20.00 additional per guest,
Venture off the pavement onto tera firma. We have several routes around Aspen where we can showcase the awsome capabilities of the Segway X-2, off-road. Same tour time, just adds more fun. bbbbbb

Custom Tours, Parties, teambuilding and Special Events.

Make your next event something to remember. Our Segways are transportable to your party. Our guides can provide short introductory tours of your property or the resort you are staying in. More competetive crowds will love Segway Golf, Polo and Races. Carbondale, Basalt, Snowmass, Woody Creek, Old Snowmass and Aspen are full of potential Segway events.

Custom Tours $500.00 for 4 segways and 2 hours of fun.

Our tours have been created in the same spirit of all our adventures. If you are looking for something new to stay on the cutting edge of recreation this is it. These tours are not aggressive like mountain biking but are amazingly intriguing. Standing still yet moving through space and time, these vehicles put a uniquely Segway, WOW, smile on your face. To experience the ride is the goal but in Colorado add scenery.

All of our tours are guided. Guests do not need to have any special abilities to ride a Segway. The brain of the Segway makes 200 corrections per second and has 5 aircraft Gyroscopes to keep you upright and having fun. Sturdy flat-soled shoes are required, NO HIGH HEELS, a light jacket or sweatshirt is recommended and helmets are required and will be provided.
