Colorado Springs MOUNTAIN TRAIL RIDES (1 hr and 2 hr)                 
We'll ride by old mines, deserted cabins and across creeks. The aspen groves, pine trees and rock formations are beautiful. At the highest point of the trail, you can see three different mountain ranges at the same time.  One hour is good for the first time rider and two hours is about right if you want more adventure.  An experienced wrangler accompanies all guests.  Your guide will help you with your horse and take you to beautiful overlooks.  Much of the ride will be in the Pikes Peak National Forest. 

1 hr $39/person: available daily @ 9:00 and 10:30am, 1:30 pm, and 3:00 pm
2 hr $59/person: available daily @ 10:00 am and 2:00pm

3.5 Hour Jeep/Horse Combo              
This tour includes parts of our Mountain Jeep tour and a one-hour horseback ride. Your Cowboy guide will pick up from major hotels in an open air Jeep and take you to the Stables via scenic back roads . We make several stops to stretch our legs and take advantage of photo opportunities of the distant mountains and views below. We stop at the ranch property for the horseback ride on mountain trails through pine trees, aspen groves and mountain meadows. After the ride we continue to explore the high country and then head back to town.

Colorado Springs $100/person  Available daily.  Total activity time 3.5 hours.

PRESERVE RIDES Colorado Springs       
Elk and Buffalo roam free in our 200 acre preserve. Explore the Pike Forest and search for the elusive heard in the preserve. This ride is one hour in duration and includes portions of the 1 hour route and guarantees wildlife viewing.  An experienced wrangler accompanies all guests.  Your guide will help you with your horse and take you to beautiful overlooks.

CLOTHING:
Temperatures are 10 to 20 degrees cooler in the mountains, at night the difference is even greater. Dress in layers and have warm clothes along with you. Cowboy hats, boots and jeans are always appropriate. Brief showers in the afternoon are not uncommon. Rain slickers are available.

LIMITATIONS:
No riders under age of 8 or over 250 pounds. All riders must sign waivers.  For children ages 2-6 yrs. Pony rides are available. $15.00

Depending on the time of the year, the time of day or other unforeseen circumstances, we are not always able to offer all tours every day. All tours require a minimum number of passengers. We will make every effort to accomodate all guests, but may ask for some flexibility on your part by having alternate days/times available.
