Please read through all of our website as it pertains to your hot air balloon flight. The deal offered is on our basic balloon flight package. You will need to get directions to our meeting site from the maps link above. We'll meet you at the Safeway parking lot location at Cave creek rd. and Tatum. Meeting times vary by date.

Remember these coupons do expire on November 20th, 2011 and you need to make your reservation by October 10th, 2011. Flights scheduled after October 10th will be subject to a $50.00 extension fee. Groupons will not be honored after November 20th, 2011. Thank you for your cooperation with these parameters.

Please be patient with us and limit your calls to us today. We will be slammed for the next few weeks supporting this deal. If you are waiting to fly in a month or so, just drop us an email with the dates you would like to fly and your Groupon validation #. Remember flights are subject to favorable weather conditions. Groupon tickets do expire, so you should have a minimum of 3 or 4 dates available to guarantee your flight will happen: a couple of which should be weekdays as it may take several tries to get off the ground. Goupon flights that are canceled due to weather will be extended 1 month and no longer than one month past the expiration date.

Guests who wait until the last month or days of the Groupon validation period should plan on being flexible. You will most likely need to fly on a weekday as the weekends will be booked. Weekends book up and are sold out well in advance, Saturdays especially.

Guests who are visiting Arizona and are taking advantage of this great deal on vacation need to understand the weather may not cooperate.

Groupons are only valid on morning flights.

The flight you are purchasing is the Basic Flight Package: $185/ adult for $99.00

Flights canceled due to weather will be extended one month beyond the scheduled flight date and no more than one month past the groupon expiration date.

All flights require a 6 guest minimum in order to fly.

All flights have a 48hr cancelation policy.

We require weights of passengers at time of booking.
Guests over 200 lbs. will be charged $50.00

We anticipate selling several hundred Groupon tickets. This volume will fill us to capacity on many days. We recommend calling well in advance to schedule your adventure. All tours have a 6 guest minimum so you will be paired up with others or your tour may be rescheduled if the minimum is not met for a particular tour. We will notify you the night before your flight if this is the case. We book flights right up until 5:00pm the day before the flight.

Scottsdale Balloon Flight Discription

At highest flight levels you will experience the panorama of the desert and mountain terrain stretching out for 100 miles in all directions. Changing altitude brings different wind currents used to "steer" the balloon. We float close to the ground to skim over the unique plant life such as the giant Saguaro cactus and Palo Verde Trees. We often see coyotes, jack rabbits, desert mule deer, and even javelinas... animals that are normally too shy to let you approach when you are walking on the ground.

Five Star Sunrise Flight: Enjoy the world famous hot air balloon flight over the Sonoran Desert. The crisp morning air in The Senoran Desert provides for the best flight oportunities. Flights are typically 1 hour in duration if not longer and are cancelled less frequently than the PM flights. What to expect on your Balloon Experience?
First and foremost, a safe memorable experience.

Crew
The most personable, professional, uniformed and experienced in the valley.
Clean Modern Vehicles and Balloons.

Clothing
The temperature in the balloon basket is no colder than the temperature on the ground if not warmer. The balloon moves with the wind so there is not any wind chill factor.
We recomend an athletic shoe, NO SANDALS, HEELS or FLIP FLOPS. Our flights are out in the desert full of rocks, dirt, cactus, sticks and other things that can hurt your feet. Sometimes guests get all drerssed up for this elegant excursion. The balloons are dusty and you will get a little dirty. We recomend you dress in layers as if you were going on a day hike. Sunglasses, a sweatshirt and a baseball hat is sufficient. Some guests say the radiant heat from the burners is warm on their heads.

Time
Plan to meet us at the appointed time. Please do not be late and there is no need to be early. Your balloon ride will be 45 minutes. Depending on the day, we land when it is most prudent for safety reasons. Total activity time is three to four hours. This includes transportation time to and from the field, time to assemble and inflate the balloon, flight time, pack up of the balloon, party in the field and transport back to your cars. Most flights are done in 3 hours but can take as long as 4 hours. No two flights are ever the same.

Number of Guests on each flight
The balloons hold between 4 and 12 guests depending on bookings and guest weights. You will be asked to provide approximate weights of all passengers. We do have a four guest minimum in order to fly. Most parties book in groups of two. Most days this is not an issue altohough we do recomend you book early as some days do sell out.

All flights are confirmed and paid for 48 hours in advance.

Depending on the time of the year, the time of day or other unforeseen circumstances, we are not always able to offer all tours every day. All tours require a minimum number of passengers. We will make every effort to accomodate all guests, but may ask for some flexibility on your part by having alternate days/times available.
