ABOUT OUR VEHICLES

JEEP SCRAMBLERS: Most of our Cowboy Jeep Tours are offered in JEEP SCRAMBLERS that have been converted for commercial 4-wheel drive tours. They are equipped with special seating, roll bars, off-road tires and chrome wheels. These vehicles seat up to six or seven adult passengers with seat belts. The passenger compartment has large windows and a top that is fully removable. These are offered as "open air" tours with the windows rolled up or only a sun-shade roof. If you don't want to get wet then we have a Suburban or Van.

JEEP Unlimited 4 door: r2007 and 2008 mark the newest generation in Jeep fun. The four door Jeep built by Mercedes Benz is a croud pleaser. It lives up to the Jeep Legend while providing more room and access for our guest. Our Jeep named White Thunder has been retrofitted to carry 8 guests comfortably.

FORD BRONCOS: For additional comfort, guests may wish to tour in a late model FORD BRONCO that has been converted for commercial use. These are similar to the Jeeps in that they have special seating for six passengers, roll bars, off road tires and chrome wheels. The passenger compartment also has large vinyl side windows that can be rolled up and a partially removable top. They also offer a softer, ore comfortable ride as well as heart and air-conditioning as may be desirable.

CHEVY SUBURBANS: For the most comfort but least exposure to the outside environment, the guest may opt for the comfort of an 8 passenger SUBURBAN. These Suburbans are equipped with heavy duty suspension. They are fully air-conditioned and heated but do not have special seating or a removable top.

FORD VANS and Dodge Sprinter: All of our van tours use 14 passenger FORD VANS. These are also available for transportation to balloons, horses, or rafting trips, and for custom-designed group tours.

We also can provide transportation for larger groups by 47 passenger buses. We recommend this for transportation to/from Denver or for taking large groups to rafting, horseback riding, or private Western dinners.

Disclaimer: Our Jeep tours take place in the wild. Each tour is new adventure for both AOW and you the guest. AOW cannot forsee all possible scenarios that may impeed an otherwise successful tour. Tours involving mother nature combined with man made vehicles that take place in remote areas cannot be totally controlled. The environment includes stream crossings, boulders, rocks, trees, unpredictable weather, other vehicles on the roads and wildlife that may be encountered. Each and all effect the outcome of your adventure. Mechanical breakdowns do and can occur from time to time. Drive shafts break on rocks, batteries jostle loose. Rescue times may be long and are part of the experience. All equipmet is impecably maintained and guides are well trained. Should you encounter an out of the ordinary experience count yourself lucky. Full fares will be charged for all tours regardless of outcome. Prorated amounts may be negotiated on a case by case basis at the sole discretion of Adventures Out West.
