SPECTACULAR!
Snow-capped Pikes Peak and Colorado Springs from
the basket of one of our fleet of Western-theme
hot air balloons
|
Explore
beautiful Colorado Springs from the basket of a hot air
balloon. Each flight is a unique journey guided by the
wind and the skills of your pilot.
Your
balloon will fly at altitudes between tree height and
3,000 feet. At the highest flight levels, snow-capped
mountains, rivers and high plains are visible for 100's
of miles in all directions. You'll view Pikes Peak, Cheyenne
Mountain, Garden of the Gods, Sangre de Cristo Mountains,
Mt Evans west of Denver and all the way to New Mexico
from your balloon on a clear day.
Our flight celebration
features a champagne toast, orange juice, fresh fruit
and pastry
presented with custom etched glass stemware,
table cloth and flowers. Each new aeronaut receives a
flight certificate, suitable for framing. Flight videos
and group photos are available upon request.
HOT
AIR BALLOONING & TEAM BUILDING
... A great partnership
for training your team to work as one while having FUN
and creating memories they will share for years to come.
Float along the foothills
of the Rockies or the stunning mountain setting surrounding
Aspen/Snowmass in the dawn's early light. There's so much
more to hot air ballooning than altitude - maybe catch
a glimpse of eagles, mule deer, elk, fox, prarie dogs,
pronghorn antelope, rabbits and coyotes as you glide silently
over the gorgeous Colorado landscape.
We provide transportation
to the balloon launch site where your teams will be introduced
to our experienced, entertaining Balloon Crews and Certified
Pilots. After a short instruction and flight briefing,
the real fun begins! Teams A & B (consisting of 4-6
team members each) will assist with the assembly and inflation
of their balloon, then jump aboard for a 30 minute flight.
During the flight, Team A will be in radio communication
with our ground chase crew and Team B... (this part is
great!) ... Team A (in the air) must tell Team B
(on the ground) where to go in order to catch the balloon
at landing. Since only one individual can talk on the
radio at a time, Team A must work together to decide the
best path and relay that information to Team B.
The flight path of a balloon can be unpredictable at times
and there's plenty of time for team building. Upon landing,
the chase team and Team B must catch their balloon basket
(there might be more than one balloon)... then we 'swap
out the passengers' for a second flight of the morning,
or 'hop'. The teams switch roles and do it all over again.
Upon completion of the hops, both teams will pack their
balloon into it's bag and then celebrate the morning with
the traditional Balloonist's Toast... accompanied by champagne
or perhaps a Mimosa in our custom etched glass stemware.
All particupants are awarded a First Flight Certificate
suitable for framing, denoting their new status as Aeronaut.
We also offer our 1-1.5
hour Five Star Flights for Team Building ... Less confusing
and just as much fun! Often individuals can be somewhat
apprehensive about balloon flight if they have never flown
before. Just sharing this magnificent experience with
co-workers can help create stronger team bonds.
Transportation, continental
breakfast, champagne toast and flight certificates are
all included.
