Photo oppurtunities are endless

This is a great activity that gets guests out of the Jeeps to "focus" on the beautiful scenery of Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods.   Guests are picked up at the hotel by a cowboy guide in a four-wheel drive vehicle specially set up for mountain tours.  He will entertain them along the way with stories of Pikes Peak, Cripple Creek mining and the Old West.

When they get to the Garden of the Gods, they will "meet up" with an experienced photographer who will guide them on footpaths through the many beautiful rock formations.  Along the way he will point out great photo opportunities and provide tips on lighting and composition.  Guests enjoy a great walk in the Colorado sunshine and learn how to better appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds them.  The pictures they take will provide a very personal memory of their trip to Colorado.  This one-hour photo safari option may be added to the two-hour Garden of the Gods jeep tour or the three-hour Foothills jeep tour.  Guests are encouraged to bring their own photographic equipment, although disposable cameras (available for an additional cost) will also work well for this event. 

We recommend adding a cooler of beverages for each Jeep to enjoy. Box lunches can also be purchased.
